CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

U.S.A. California

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Congrats!

Thanks! Do you know when we will find out our schedule for the falll? Is it at orientation?

Orientation will just be the sorting of students into the basic or trimester program. They then create our schedules once everyone has been assigned a program.

Based on the Fall 2011 cohort, we won't get our schedules until July! :banghead:

Ahhh I want to know my schedule now! Haha

We all do! I want to get my final schedule done already! I can't add non-nursing classes until I know what time slots I'll have available.

Oh I see, have you done any capstones yet?

And another question; for these steps for the Magnus Health Portal:

18. Go ahead to the “Driver’s License Expiration Date” text answer requirement and click on the blank space next to the requirement to fill in the text answer.

19. Follow the exact instructions in the italicized description just below the requirement in filling in the text answer.

20. Once you’ve completed the text answer click “save” in the bottom right corner of your tracker.

Where is the text answer thing? My records already attached to the Current Driver's License requirement but I dont see any text answer [?]

All I see is "edit medical document properties" o.o

Nevermind I read on an earlier post to disregard that.

I'm confused on whether or not we need to have our titer results done by orientation this friday...The to-do checklist form says the initial quantitative serum results must be brought to new student orientation. Exceptions: if you're in the midst of receiving a vaccination series, for a particular disease, wait to get that specific titer.

BUT towards the top of this page it says "acquire and upload the following documents between ORIENTATION and JULY 30 magnus due date. Please bring any and all hard copies the day of orientation.

Have you guys already gotten your initial titers done? I'm going to be the only one who won't have their titer results with them...great =/

I saw that too, but I am pretty sure we DON'T have to have it done by orientation. I think they just want us to bring records/forms in case we have any questions about them. I've only uploaded my driver's license so far and still need to do my titers, as well as the CPR class.

Yeah I went ahead and completed all the requirements a few weeks back just to make sure so I could have them for orientation because of that statement. I also haven't even attempted to upload them to Magnus. I have a brand new printer/etc that's just been sitting in the box for quite awhile. So I'm hoping that I can get help/info on uploading them.

I definitely don't think we need titers done by orientation. We just need to upload our driver's licenses and make our accounts.

Am I the only one overwhelmed by all these documents? There's so much! :uhoh3:

You're definitely not the only one overwhelmed. There's like 20 pages worth of directions do all the different things they want. I'm just as confused and overwhelmed and I've actually completed the requirements (except for the health insurance part). They're just sitting in a folder on my desk because I dread attempting to upload them all. That seems like it would be the harder part. Lol
