CSULB Fall 2012 BSN

U.S.A. California

Published

Hi!

I think the CSULB School of nursing recently post new pool statistics including those who were chosen for Fall 2011.

Knowing that the rating average is 8.91/10, that seems like a huge difference than the previous semesters!

Anyone else planning to apply to CSULB Fall 2012 BSN program?

Thanks for the responses!

Pick the earlier date if you're looking to add non-nursing classes to your schedule.

Hey. Has anyone gotten their official award letters from the school yet?!?

Yes, I got mine about 2 weeks ago.

Really? And that was your final and not the preliminary? I called yesterday and they told me 2-3 more weeks!!

No, that was my final award. I was eligible for pell grant, state grant, and federal loans (Im really broke!! Lol). I already accepted the offer. I also signed up for the direct deposit and fulfilled the requirements for the federal loans (borrower orientation and promissory note). Mycsulb states that aid should be available on Aug 17th.

Maybe they are still reviewing the aids for some students and are processing them according to FASFA submission? I signed up for FASFA early January -- maybe they have the "first come first served" policy?

I hope it helps. Good luck!

I got mine about a week ago. I called on like a weekly basis and bugged them about it haha but I applied for FAFSA early January as well. Got approved for state/pell grants and federal loans as well. Was hoping I'd get more in grants though but oh well, anything helps!:yeah:

Wow! Really? Well congrats on all the new money LOL! I know it will help. I'm crossing my fingers for the same. I need it! I just hate that it's taking so long. Maybe it is first come first served not sure. I know it took longer than I expected to get that stupid IRS transcript and I know that didn't help. Well I guess I'll just have to continue to wait. Hopefully I'm waiting for lots of good news tho!

Thanks for the info.

Maybe I'll start bugging them too! LOL

Thanks

Wish I was getting some money....Lol. I was approved for loans only, yet I am also broke!

Being a single mom does have it's advantages I guess :lol2:

Woot! I was able to register for SBCC's Pathophysiology today. Started at #8 on the waitlist a month ago. Ordered my books too :) I am relieved!
