What are your top choices for nursing school? Csulb is my last hope! Hope it's good news for me. I've been anxious since Monday. I hope we find out as early as possible!

CSULB is my top choice, I was accepted to CSU Fullerton (although I am really hoping that doesn't end up being the only school I get into). I was rejected from UCLA and waitlisted at Western. Still waiting to here back from USF and Azusa, as well.

After all this waiting (this whole process started in what like October or September even!) we'll finally know our fate hopefully in the next month. I'm at a point now where I just want to know, this constant anxiety for the past 2 months every time I check my e-mail has been a killer!

By any chance, have any of you called to find out where they are in terms of going through applications? I'm wondering when we'll be notified. I cannot wait.. The anticipation is killing me lol. I check me email every 30 mins. Am I the only one going crazy?

I think you still need to wait another week before checking your e-mail so much! From what I remember reading (correct me if I'm wrong) I'm pretty sure the old brochure said we'd be notified by the end of April whether or not we have interviews and their final decisions by May 15. From what I've seen from all the other schools I wouldn't hold my breath, I doubt we'll be hearing anything in the immediate future. My guess is end of next week or maybe the week after that.

It's good to hear I am not alone with the anticipation and uncertainty! The old brochure said we would be contacted "about two weeks after the deadline" if they wanted to call us in for an interview. Since @siberiantiger says they didn't have interviews, I feel a little better about not being contacted yet.

@jcsong, I've been wondering about the program length too. When I first looked into CSULB, it looked like they were going to do the 16 month RN and 18 month NP. The brochure changed to say it was going to be longer, but somewhere else still had it as 16/18. When I went in to take my TEAS, -------------- said they were thinking of making it longer, cause it was hard on some of the students. This makes me ANGRY, since I was applying here in a big part for the short length of the program! I feel hopeful that the 2016 info says that they are going to be on a 16/18 schedule though. I was really counting on learning about the program at the information session...I can't believe they never had one!

Well, back to waiting I suppose...

I actually called in and spoke with xxxx today. She said that the ELM program beginning in the fall is a 3 year program: 16 months for your RN and 18 months there after for your masters. I turned in all of my application, transcripts, etc in person and she told me that if anything was missing, she will contact me directly. So I am guessing if you have not heard anything yet regarding the status of your application, then that should be a good thing. I believe decisions will be made early-mid May! Good luck all!

Thanks so much for the info @jaytphan! I'm sure glad they're sticking with the 3 year program. You just made my day! Back to waiting...

I got the email too! I plan to be starting an ABSN program next month though so I will likely be giving up my spot. Best of luck everyone! :)
