Hello everyone! I am really nervous about finding out whether or not I will get accepted to the csuci BSN program. I just received an email from CSULB and unfortunately i didn't get into their fall 2014 program. Since these two programs are the only BSN programs I applied to I am really hoping I get into CSUCI, and also because i just love their campus. I really don't want to end up in a AA program. Anyone know what are good acceptance statistics for their program?

What's wrong with an AA? You can finish up your BSN after u get your AA. Its' cheaper to do it at a CC. That's what I did. Got my AA in CC and will be applying to the CSUCI accelerated RN-BSN degree (14 months I think)

not that there's anything wrong with an AA but id rather jump straight for my BSN considering it will take the same amount of time. I'm just exhausted of all this, last thing i want is another AA, i just want my BSN already.

Sorry to hear about CSULB. I, too, got rejected. Ms. Ward said that the cut-off score was 9.35/10. I heard CSULA has a good nursing program as well. You didn't apply there?

If you look at CSUCI's information session powerpoint, it's in there.

How many points do you have?

I Knew my chances there were slim since it is very competitive. I was starting to apply to CSULA but I missed the date i was supposed to turn in my TEAS score and its a bummer because that school is so close to me. I have 28 or 29 points for CSUCI.. i wish i was a student. i would have 35 points. IDK im really hoping to get in but from what i know last year they only accepted students from 31-42

I have 33 pts. And from what i've heard that was the cutoff this year. Good luck to us!

I mean last year *

I got my admissions letter yesterday via snail mail. Do any of you know why the program is 3 years? Other CSU's have theres capped at 2 years.

Congratulations on your acceptance!

Well, CSULA's program is 2 1/2 years. Maybe because CI's has a pre-nursing semester.

@goalkeeper thanks! did not know that CSULA's program was 2.5 years. I'll do more research on CI's program.
