Hello all,

As I have mentioned in previous psoting i am a New Yorker hoping to move this May to California. I am still looking to hear about Central Coast CA, and San Diego. I totally understand as a new grad i need to pay my dues on a med surg floor however i am looking to move on to the ER/OR.

I am looking to join a hospital with the following critiera:

1) Great training program for new grads

2) Large hospital that offers a wide array of services.

In addition i would greatly apprecaite anyone who would like to provide weblinks to other things i need to be thinking of that the state of CA requires, as i mentioned up above i am from NY and i am not sure of all that is required i noticed some people mentioning "PALS" which I have never heard of before.

THANKS IN advance i am looking forward to the many responses.

Hi, if you move to San Diego you'll want to work for either Sharp or Scripps. Those are the two major hospital groups in San Diego and both are similar in technology, reputation, quality, etc. The only exception to that is if you want to work for Rady Childrens Hospital. I don't know much about it except that it's good but not a part of either Sharp or Scripps.

hey uc san diego medical center. Try these guys. Thanks

Pacific as always
