Hey I won a spot in the City College of S.F. lottery and wanted to know if anyone else has, and if so have you gotten an acceptance letter yet?

Did you receive the notice in June?

Don't remember exactly, was searching for the my letter but yeah by June.

New here, but had something to offer. I was number 80 on the list and I was originally set to start in Spring 2014. After the TEAS I received a call offering me a spot in the Fall semester this year. I guess a handful of of people were eliminated by the TEAS. Orientation is tomorrow!

Gratz! How was orientation?

I am #16 on standby at CCSF. And I haven't received any call yet. But I got a letter in the mail asking me to join the Summer Bridge program. Could this mean I am getting at least a Spring seat?! I'd be totally happy if I do.

I got into spring but they do call as slots open up for fall...you might get lucky :)

It depends on when people drop...i have heard you can even get a call the day school starts for fall..

Hi everyone!

I know this post is about a year old, lol. Not sure where to find a more recent convo about this topic. But, I just found out I'm #76 for the Fall 2014 semester at CCSF!

It's my first time applying, and I guess the program changed it so you have to apply again for the following Spring semester :yawn:

Any ideas on what my chances are here for getting into the Fall semester? And anyone else on here in the same lottery as me?

I entered the CCSF lottery too for Fall 2014 but I'm #208 :( I doubt I'll get in. They take 50 people for Fall. Not sure how many are on the wait list. I bet you've got a better shot that me!

Aww, I'm sorry to hear :sorry: Did you apply to any other schools?

Yes 4 others, one of which I was accepted Dominican (but its so expensive...hoping for a more affordable program). Here's hoping we're both lucky!

And anyone else on here in the same lottery as me?[/quote'] I got in for Spring 2014, and I was #120 something on the wait list. There were people even higher up on the list than me who got in. They were called in at short notice though. A lot of people who get accepted may not qualify, may decline or drop the program. Congrats by the way! :)
