Cal State Long Beachís accelerated program - Any info?Register Today!
- by Ment2B Nov 11, '05Iím applying for CSULBís accelerated program and just want to know from anyone familiar with the program what the acceptance rates were? Iím worried that my GPA in my previous degree wonít be high enough for acceptance. The school requires a GPA of 3.00 for the previous BA/BS, and I have a 3.01. However, I have a 4.0 in my prereqs and have taken several supplementary and/or optional courses all with a 4.0 GPA. I also have pretty extensive volunteer experience, but Iím worried that my lack of determination and ambition towards my first degree will overshadow the determination and desire I have towards what I feel is my true calling! Any suggestions?

- Nov 11, '05 by Ment2BI've spoken extensively with the department/program coordinators and secretary, but of course, they've been giving me the typical "we can't really say what your chances are because it all depends on who else is applying and what your statistics are as a whole". Which is absolutely true! But, someone told me that I had a "good potential" for being competitive with other applicants. But what that means exactly, I don't know! :chuckle
