Hello all,

I'm applying to APU's NP program this January and am sooo excited and nervous! I'm really trying to get accepted to start in Fall 2011 as I don't want to wait until spring 2012. This is my first choice (I've already applied to another school here) and I've GOT to get in! Is anybody out there waiting for decisions or has advice for the application process? I would've applied sooner, but they just implemented a rule where you have to have 12 completed credits for science, so I had to wait until grades got posted.

could you tell me the drop dead date of when you need to have your deposit paid? I'm trying to be patient by not calling the school.

Got my call today. I've been accepted to the Summer 2012 cohort in San Diego. I can't wait for it to begin.

congrats!!! i originally applied to the SD campus, but then said I was open to either SD or SB. I got into SB which is fine now because I just found out they're starting the masters portion at that location too! So I won't have to move after I finish the BSN :) that's what I was concerned about. Anywayyy, congraaats again! Will you be moving from somewhere far to SD? Or are you from SD already?

I got into the San Diego campus. I already live here so it works out great.. esp since I have family here already. How about you?

oh good deal! that's convenient. i got into the san bernardino campus. either way, i'd be moving from the bay area to southern california. so no matter which campus i got into, it would be a big move for me! i put SD as my first choice, but i think SB will be good too :)

I live in Temecula with my family. My wife is an OT and has a good job in the area so we are not looking to move at this time. It's a bit of a commute but commuting a long distance is nothing new to me. So we'll see. I would be nice to be closer to school and San Diego is beautiful.

Thanks for the congrats. Congratulations to kjlc2003 for getting in also. It looks like we will meet in the future. Now I need to get a FASTRAK.

I was just offered a seat starting this fall @ Azusa!!! Don't give up hope I was rejected for this Fall cohort AND Spring 2012 and they gave me a spot super last minute. It can happen to you too!!!!

Thanks! It has been I've been trying get into a nursing program for over 3 years. I got into the main campus at Azusa.
