I just went through something very similar to you. My BS GPA was 2.96, and I got a C in anatomy and thought I would never get in. I took some online classes at Barstow community college and got my gpa up to 3.4, which is still competitive for the ELM program. I also took a couple of classes at Cal baptist (organic chem, bio, and ab psyc). I have heard its easier to get into cal baptist if you are a current student.
I just got my notice today that I will be interviewing for the 2013 program this month. Once you get an interview, that means you are part of the select pool that meets their requirements to enter the program. So at this point you have passed the hard part.
The ELM program cordinator is great, her name is *********. I would suggest going and talking to her. Maybe she can give you some suggestions on taking some classes at Cal baptist to help your chances.
Don't give up, I have been working on getting into the nursing program for ever, and where there is a will there is a way.
I just got my interview email for CBU!! I'm thanking God for this opportunity!!!
