Is there any programs in northern California that offer ADN for RN
i had the same question but nobody on here seem to care . good luck with your question
If what's being referred to is an ADN upgrade for a Diploma RN, I'm going to give a solid "I am not sure" response. There are quite a few ADN programs in northern California, so it would be best to contact the programs individually and see if they offer this. From what I've read, you have to take 12 units "in house" at the college and your RN Diploma basically covers the "program" stuff and they'd basically count that as prior credit toward the degree and you'd get an ADN awarded. It's worth a good look. The only hitch would be if they require any other courses to ensure you have all the necessary General Ed coursework that goes along with an Associate's Degree. Only the programs can tell if that's an option there. I thought I saw it offered on Sac City's nursing website... so they might have this as an option.
