Where to live in or near the bay area

by 911RMRN

Hey All,
I will be working in the oakland area. I am in need of locating a studio or 1 bedroom in or around that area that is reasonable priced and safe for a female that will be flexible with her hours.
I will appreciate any help that I can get
Thanks

The following areas in Oakland are very nice: Montclair, Rockridge, Crocker Highlands.

North Berkeley and the Elmwood area of Berkeley are very nice.

Albany, El Cerrito and Alameda are nice and safe.

I don't personally like Emeryville, but there are a lot of rentals and it is centrally located. I don't think it is safe though.

Good luck!

I read your past threads and judging by this post I'm assuming you got the position you were interviewing for. What questions did they end up asking you during that phone interview? Hopefully you will share as I have a few interviews coming up ( LVN position though...). Thanks!!

I currently live in an apartment in Fremont off Paseo Padre...BEAUTIFUL apartments with a great scenic creek view from the back. Highly priced though and since the lease is almost up I'm having to look for a new place...a cheaper one... let me know how your apartment hunt went also.please!! thanks for your time. all info is very much appreciated!
