What's with the Guvernator's ads about nursing?

by ZZTopRN

I have been seeing ads on TV today by nurses saying how the Guvernator has improved things for nurses and better patient care.

What the heck am I missing?

that tv ad is sponsered by the California Hospital Association. They and the pharmacuetical industry are in his back pocket. More important to them to protect the bottom line and profits than patient safety. When people like Arnold are in the hospital all the rules change.........

Default Also...
Also, have you heard about the Governor's plan to delay implementation of the staffing ratio law until 2008?! There was a rally in Sacramento today of over 2,500 RN's from all over the state. See Brian's post from 11/18:
http://allnurses.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85118

Also check out www.calnurse.org to learn more and find out what you can do.

Don't let the Governor's special interests come first over patient interests. Let the terminator know that we won't let him make arbitrary decisions to terminate the ratios RN's have fought so hard for. [color=DarkRed]
