What's going on at Mt. Diablo in Concord?

I am hearing all sorts of rumors about the contact agreement talks between the CNA-union nurses and management. Heard they were offered a very respectable offer, but have reasons to not accept it. I have a friend that is relocating to the area from northern calif. to the Concord area and asked about Mt. Diablo Medical Center for a possible nursing position. She didn't know the status of the contract negotionations and I only had rumors. What is going on with that and what are the main issues towards reaching a settlement? My friend and I do not know anyone at Mt. Diablo and thought I may post this for a response. Thanks!...
