What do RN I, II and III classifications mean?

I'm trying to figure out the terminology as I hunt for work. In job listings at hospitals I see jobs listed as being for RN I, RN II or RN III. Are these a skill level, or experience level, or a pay scale level, or something else?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Its for all the above. It included skill and experience and more pay for the higher classifications. You need to contact the individual facility for how much experience you require for each. What a RN II means at one hospital is not necessarily what it means at another.
