I was just wondering if you're planning on taking the NCLEX before you move out and then endorsing to Cali or if you're going to apply directly to Cali and take the NCLEX after you move.

You can apply to CA for initial licensure, and take the exam where you are currently located before you move out to the west coast. There is no reason to wait until you are in CA to test. And you will find it much less stressful to have it done before you move to the other side of the country. So many stresses will be on you when you start to work and move to a new apt.

(p.s. where you actually write the NCLEX exam has no bearing on the state that you are taking the exam for.)
