Sylmar/Valencia area

Any suggestions on the area? I have accepted a travel position in that area and will be moving down there in the next week or two..........

Things of special interst to see, areas to stay away from, etc.? The closest beach to that area, can't wait to see the look on 5 lb Austin's face when he sees it. He doesn't even like the sink to get a bath, but Sabrina will just love it. Me too.

You will be sooo much closer to me ( say 30 minute drive )...well, if you will be moving in the Valencia area, that is an awesome place (expenive though), Magic Mountain is there..just a nice place to live...actually we'd like to move there someday...Well, the closest beach would be the Santa Monica Beach which is not that far (maybe 45 minutes away...gorgeous beach...you'll love it!)...You will only be about 20-30 minutes away from LA....3 hours away from Las vegas
