St. Mary's Medical Center, Longbeach

Can anyone advise on St. Mary's Medical Center Longbeach? I have been offered employment there in Med/surg/telemetry. I currently reside in the midwest USA and I am thnking of moving? Any thoughts on accomodation around the facility, what is the range?
Is it a good area to raise a kid?
