hi there!
its so hard to look for a job these days specially for new grads! and i would like to apply in skilled nursing facility but not sure what nursing facilities are out there. Do u know any skilled nursing facilities or LTC near san bernardino or inland empire. specifically in rancho cucamonga, ontario, chino and chino hills?

Hi i am a newly licensed nurse LVN and have the same dilemma. I don't really know where to apply every single hospital i have applied to wants 1 year experience, even the LTC facilities are asking for experience.

I wish the ones that hire new grads would advertise it that way so we knew where to apply

BTW I am here in Los Angeles and you think it would be easy to find an opportunity for a new LVN.

hi guys,

my advice would be to go thru the yellowpages and call each of the facility randomly...asking if they are hiring. i would even take on-call position, just to get your foot in the door...and once they know you better, it's easier to take on a FT shift. That is what i did and still doing. If you're close to Alhambra, there is Royal Garden on Valley and close by Fremont, is hiring for night shift for Fri and Sat nite. There are hospice patients there as well, just to let you guys know what to expect. The pay is a bit more than $20 for nite shift. Check it out. Good luck to both of you for job hunting.

LVN Los Angeles, Thanks for the info I am actually close by those facilities, on the Fremont one is that a LTC facility ? I was trying to find the address and apply but I cannot locate anything with that name alone. Can you give me the complete names? I will be ever so grateful. The Fremont facility job sounds good I need a weekend job and nights are what I prefer, it would be great if something did come of this!! You can post it here or send me a pm. Thanks so much irish6363
