Signing bonus in Ventura/L.A. county hospitals??

Hello all!! I just passed NCLEX last Friday and will be moving from NC to California when my husband get's out of the military. While I am originally from California, I realize the cost of living out there is ridiculous! Do the hospitals out there in Ventura and l.a. county offer sign on bonuses? Here in NC I got a sign on of 8k. I'm also starting out at 20 bucks an hour....what do those areas start out at? I can't wait to come back "home", but I am wondering if money for gas and such will be an issue. My dad was telling me it was like 4.25 near him. Its 3.91 here. I HATE GAS!!!!! Ok sorry about that.....any help will be much appreciated!!!!

Ventura County bonuses

St Johns Oxnard is 10 k
los robles 8
community 8 I think
Cottage Santa Barbara is 4 K thereabouts

New Grad Pay is about 27 bucks and hour give or take a dollar or two and this is consistent with most LA county hospitals

housing costs are outrageous so your 20 bucks and hour buys more house for you in NC
