Re: San Diego schools?
I recently visited maric college, and i have to admit that i was impressed with the school and its nursing program. Did you know that their lab as recently renovated and they now have ive stimulated practice patients? Sorry if im a litte excited, but their program seems awsome. What didnt seem awesome was the price of the RN program( I was quoted at $ 47,000).Honesty, I think that is way too expensive, but if i was excepted, i would gadly pay the money, b/c in 2 years, you could be an RN and make twice as much to pay that oan off. I also didnt like the admission staff, they seem like pushy sales people. I akso want to earn a BSN, and it is hard to get schools to accept Marics credits, but luckily UoP doe accept them and that is a fuly accredited school.
Im seriously considering trying to get in at Maric, but have a little dilema. I got accepted to the LVN program at Concorde to begin Oct08, at 1st i was super excited, but its not exactly what i want,b/c at the end of the day, i still want to be an RN. Im debating whetern to do the VN at Concorde and then do an LVN-RN program or just do my CNA training and then try for the Aug 08 RN program at Maric. Do LVNs get paid around the same as CNAs?Confused, but i think maric is a great school, plus i know a few people who graduated from there and they love itr.
