Samuel Merritt. Can you get into the program with "C" on Physiology?


I was wondering if you guys know if thats possible to get into the accelerated program if you have a C grade on Physiology? I havent gotten the final grades for this semester, and I am nervious...
Anyone from the San Francisco Bay area/Sacramento, or CA in general got in with a C? Please, share, I am sooooooooooooo nervious.....

Hi - I'm sorry you are so worried.

If I were you, I would go in and meet with the admissions counselors. They are there on Tues. and Wed. from 10-11am I believe (in Oakland).

Are you applying to the one year absn? If you have As in your other classes and a strong NET score, I would think one C might be OK. Have you taken the NET?

Thank you,

yes, I already took NET and my composite score is 88,
I already met with the counselor, and she told me something like that they'd look at the overal science gpa and etc., i cant quite recall... But the thought of that I could have a C on my transcripts scares me (our instructor still hasnt posted the final grades)
any other thoughts?

Do you have As in your other sciences?

Your worrying may be premature - maybe you got a B

I'm in the SF program now and from what your grades look like above, you should be fine, though it depends on the applicant pool. Hope you get into the program of your choice,

As your other science grades are very good, I really wouldn't sweat it at all. I know how disappointing that can be, but I really think you having nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Maximus,

Did you ever get in to the Samuel Merritt program with a C in Physio?

I'm trying for their regular BSN but I have a C in Stats and a C in General Chem. I have A's in everything else (which is alright considering there are like 20 other prerequisites for the generic BSN!). I know I won't get in for the Fall semester, but I'm still looking at Spring.
