Question about finding a license on-line

One can verify a person's nursing license at the BRN. Do they keep record of delinquent/inactive licenses? If someone stopped working as an RN and did not keep up their license would their name not appear on line as "in active"?

It shows your status in NYS, and also whether there has been disciplinary action.

I found where someone's license was listed as "delinquent". It only shows that way for so long as far as I can tell. I looked for that particular person again a few years later and their name didn't show at all. Talking CA here.
