Private "vocational" types of RN programs???

What I'm looking for is a private school that has an RN program. A school like Casa Loma College or American Career College, where you take the typical pre-reqs (Anatomy, Physiology, Med-Micro) as part of their nursing program after you are admitted.

The schools I mentioned are for people who want to become LVNs though. I want to find a school like that with an RN/ADN program. (And one that is somewhere between Santa Barbara and Irvine if at all possible!) lol.

It has to exist. I'm in Utah right now and Stevens Henager College is just what I'm looking for. They just had their first class of ADN students graduate from their private nursing school, where you the take the 3 science classes as part of your program. They should have their NLN accreditation by the end of summer. But I won't be staying in Utah so I can't go there.

Is there something similar in So. Cal? I don't care about the cost. I just want to get the schooling done!!

Thanks.

American Careers sister school West Coast UNiversity has an anehiem and LA campus. Its $63,000 for 18 months if you REALLY don't care about the cost. All pre-reqs are bundled in no guarantees about transferability for BSN

As mentioned above, please be aware that these programs are not always accepted if you wish to go on with your studies for the BSN. I would check that out as well. And they definitely do not transfer any of the hours if you decide to change to a community college in the middle of the program.

Thanks! I'll probably end up applying to CSU Channel Islands because that is the closest school to Santa Barbara that doesn't actually have a waiting list. Plus its a lot cheaper than the private schools.

I just wanted to get done ASAP, I haven't taken any of my typical pre-reqs yet. I've been in an Allied Health program getting an Associates degree instead. But those other schools are just too far to commute I think.
