Pre-requisites?

Hello!!! ^-^
I currently have a BS in Chemistry. I was looking for an Accelerated BSN Program and thought the only requirement to enroll in the AccBSN Program was having a BS in another field. But now I find that there are also prerequisites that I need to finish. Is this true? Do I have to take additional courses that are in the prerequisites or can I just enroll with my BS Degree?

Thank you very much =)

I'm also looking for schools offering AccBSN Programs near Los Angeles =)

Yes - all nursing programs, including the accelerated programs, will require that you have both a certain set of prereqs. However, check with your school and see if you can get a "provisional" acceptance. I'm in an accelerated program and that's what I did. They basically save you a spot if you finish your prereqs before your start date.

Nurse Accelerated BSN
Airsanity have you looked into the entry MSN programs in your area. I don't know how long the BSN takes but the entry MSN takes about 3 years and you can sit for the boards usually after 1 1/2 years. Just something to consider.
