ORs in the LA area that are new grad friendly?

Wow, straight to the OR. Good luck on that one, they seldomly hire new grads but it's possible.

As a heads up, the economy in California is horrible right now. There are 1000's of unemployed new grads in California who cannot find work, many hospitals are only hiring "locally" because they already have plenty of applicants who have lived in the area a while.
I would definitely start looking early and talk to recruiters early. I would have a back up plan though now.
Also, in California, everyone just got a 10% increase on their state income tax, so what you make in Cali doesn't go as far as it did anymore anyway.
