Hello,
If you thinking of working there avoid it. I had a really bad experience there and will never go back.

I hear wonderful things about Northridge, I have a friend who has worked there a long time. It's a well reputed San Fernando Valley Hospital. Lots of trama and GSW's if you're into excitement.

Heard good and bad about every hospital, but
I think that Northridge is medium. I don't remember but I think the are union. I also think a lot depends
on your particular area and the manager there. They are a busy
San Fernando Valley trauma hospital so you would see a great variety
of ages and types.

Considering Northridge myself. I am pretty sure that they start at $27 for new grad RN's. (seems kinda low) Do you know what the raises are like and how often?

Yes, they are union. They train new grads using the impressive Versant RN Residency program, which is making a big investment in new employees. If you consider the hourly wage low for new grads (I actually don't think it is), keep in mind the value of good training.

I know people there who have had both good and bad experiences, and I second the earlier comment that it really depends on the unit and its manager. I would have considered applying there if I hadn't already been hired elsewhere.
