Northern CA RN's - good sources for job listings?

by Vektor

Hi everyone,

I am a recent RN graduate, (May 2007) working at an East Bay hospital as a staff nurse. I am planning to get at least a year's experience in the hospital setting, but my real passion is private practice dermatology - I worked as an MA for quite some time in a dermatology office which employed RN's, but no longer live in that area. I thoroughly enjoyed the field, and was inspired to go into nursing by my experiences there. I am very grateful for the learning experiences I am receiving from my current position, but my goal is to work in private practice eventually.

When searching for RN jobs, it is very easy to find many postings for hospital jobs, but I am at a loss as to where to find job postings for RN's outside the hospital. I realize that the bulk of nursing jobs to be found ARE in the hospital setting, but surely there must be a place to look for nursing jobs in other areas. I am new to the East Bay, (just moved here in June) and not sure where to start looking. Online searches haven't yielded many results - mostly hospitals.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, all.
