New and have a few questions

Hello all,

Just wanted to introduce myself and see if you can help me with a few questions.

I am currently looking into going back to school to become a nurse. I am working in an unrelated industry, and although I graduated from a great school with a great GPA, my BA required hardly any of the prerequisites I will need to get into a nursing program.

I am wondering if you can give me any advice or guidance as to which nursing program you would recommend for someone who already has a bachelors degree in something else. I know UCLA has a great 2-year MSN program, but I have heard that holding a masters doesn't really get you much in terms of salary or better jobs. If this is true, do you think it would be better for me to try a shorter BSN program?

Is there a way to do some schooling and then work while you finish in the field while finishing your degree? I don't know anyone who works in medicine, so I any advice you guys can give me would be very much appreciated.
