New Grad RN programs in Northern Cali??


Hi all! I am considering making a move to Northern California, where my mom lives, after I finish nursing school, but I can't seem to find any information online about new grad internships or training programs. I would prefer something in the ICUs, if that's possible. If you would be so kind to point me to the right direction I would really appreciate it. Also, if anyone has any personal experience on an internship program in Cali that you have attended that would also be appreciated.

I would be looking in the San Jose and surrounding areas, that's where my mom lives. I haven't really been able to get information online. Are there new grad ICU programs there?

The ones I know of are in the Central Valley, specifically from Madera (Valley Children's) north to Sutter Roseville and a few in between.

Thanks for the information but do you know if they have anything on their website that I can read up on about the program? Do they allow new grads to start in the ICU?

hi! i have the same problem. i just moved here in san diego still finding a hospital that hires newly grad RNs. it's so hard that makes me feel so frustrated everyday. i graduated in the Philippines with BSN. last dec. just got my license as an RN. after passing the NCLEX i was facing another challenge finding job. hopefully u guys can help me find a hosp. here in east or south part of San Diego.

it's so sad that nobody in my family knows any hospitals here in Cali or any connectios that can help me. help!!!
