New grad relocating to LA -- interim work?

So, as you could infer from the subject, I'm planning on relocating to LA from New Hampshire, hopefully within the next couple of weeks or so. Since I'm a new grad, I'm probably going to be looking into new grad programs starting in December/January.

Any ideas for what kind of employment I can look for during October and November? I could take a couple of random jobs if I have to, but given the cost of living and the fact that my loans go into repayment in November, I'd like to find something that pays decently. Some ideas I've had -- nursing home, home health (probably working as an LNA rather than RN), or a smaller hospital that doesn't require experience for a floor nurse.

Thoughts/advice are much appreciated!

When I moved here as a new grad i found that most places will still hire you and you start orientation and have a preceptor until there new grad program starts up
