in need of some advice re: jobs

hi everyone! i recently passed the nursing licensure exams in the philippines, july 2008. i arrived here in california as an immigrant last august. i've already submitted the requirements for the NCLEX to the BRN and im currently waiting for my eligibility..
as of now, i dont have a job, so im planning to look for one coz im really getting bored at home.

does anyone know if i could apply as an LPN or a CNA even if im not certified here, provided that i am a BSN graduate and a registered nurse in the Philippines?

Or do you have any suggestions regarding jobs related to healthcare that would be suitable for my case?

any advice would be greatly appreciated..thank you so much!
