Need LA area info, please :)

What can anyone tell me about the 90068 zip code (Barham Boulevard)? I'm not very familiar with Los Angeles and my agency is offering to put me up in an apartment there for my next travel assignment. Some places refer to this zip code as Hollywood and other places refer to it as West Hollywood. Is this a good area? I've heard there are certain parts of Hollywood that are pretty sleazy. Also can anyone give me an idea of what the commute is like from this part of town to West Hills Hospital.

Thanks for any replies.

I can't tell you too much of what the neighborhood in that area is like, but it seems pretty nice.
I would estimate the drive from the 101 at Barham Blvd, to West Hills Hospital to be about 30 minutes without traffic. Barham Blvd is pretty close to the Universal Studios, so expect heavy traffic at times. The 101 freeway is pretty heavy during rush hour.

Hope this helps a little. Good Luck!

I'm not familiar with the location of the street. If it is indeed in West Hollywood, the places that I have been there have been nice and very un-sleezy. I know a couple people that live in the West Hollywood area and they all seem to enjoy it. There are a lot of nice little shops, and there is a lot to do. Best of luck!
