What type of visa are you currently on that permits you to work?

My suggestion would be not to go looking now, wait until you are much closer to graduating. There is absolutely nothing that anyone can do at this point.

California will also take several weeks for you to get your results after you test. Nothing can be filed for an Adjustment of Status until you have actually passed the NCLEX.

My suggestion would be to apply for the OPT before you graduate, and work under that for the first year, if you qualify for that. And then you could stay right where you are for the first year...............and while you are getting all of your documents together that you need for the green card.

You can ask your school advisor about the OPT and they will be able to give you the inofrmation about it.
