Ne 201

Has anyone taken NE 201:Transition to a Associate Degree Nursing at San Diego City College? What should I expect out of this class? Is it hard? Is it easy? I work fulltime...should I expect hours and hours of studying?

Hi! I don't have an answer to your question but was wondering if you got into the program?

I'm waiting to see if I get my letter in March. I passed the TEAS but still don't know if I'm in for sure.

BTW-do you have any idea which hospitals SD City uses for clinicals?

I'm in the LVN to RN transition program and it works a little different from the generic RN program. Usually, only those who are actually accepted into the program are allowed to enroll into NE201. Apparently, only for this term, they have accepted all the LVNs on the list to enroll and take the class. We find out in May whether or not we start this Fall. Those who do not start this Fall are gauranteed to start Fall '09. For those who are starting in the Fall are joining the 2nd year generic program RN students.

Anyway, March is just around the corner. Good luck to you! I hope you are accepted!
