1 month to go and I will start working in LA. This will be my first job. Any advise in terms of cost of living and where in LA has high crimes. I do not have any relatives here, so I will be living by my own. I hope someone can enlighten me with this place. Thank you

Where in Los Angeles will you be working? Depending on what area I can e mail you some areas that will reduce your commute times
