looking for info on imperial valley college

by lbug4

Hello-
I have been on a waitlist at san diego city college for forever, and I'm getting impatient! I heard that there is no waitlist at imperial valley college, but their website isn't working, so I can't check it out. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Thanks!

My cousins decided to go to school in San Diego because getting into IVC has been unsuccessful....They opted to go to Maric (wish we had one up here) to get their VN and then go do the RN (they need to work that's why they're doing VN first)....They're in the program right now...so this information might be a bit out dated....Call the school and speak to a counselor there...The only thing about IVC is that it's out in the boonies in between El Centro/Imperial and Brawley off of Highway 111....and it's a ways from San Diego....They do have the border checks there on 8 and that can get crowded at times.....Usually going towards San Diego at peak traffic hours it can get jammed, not sure about the opposite direction....Around late March/April it can get pretty darn hot all the way through October....so if you were planning on moving to the area, that's something you might want to consider.....Good Luck!
