I can't answer your question specifically, but as a mother of a child with learning disabilities and a rare disorder, I must say that the care my family has received from Children's Hospital in Oakland California was excellent. We've also spent some time at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in Stanford--another excellent children's hospital. Both hospitals make extensive use of nurses and nurse practitioners all to the benefit of the kids.
