Those letters designations as per a ladder with skills and experience. The RN III is usually one with advanced skills and training, and normally most do not go into the job with that designation.
Highly recommend that you get hired before moving, or your commute time and expense can be very high. And pay is determined by years of experience working as an RN, there is usually nothing else that is added into it, unless you have exceptional other experiences that would get you hired in at the RN III classification.
Kaiser salary in the Bay Area is quite good, in the $50 per hour range if you have experience. Just because a hospital is part of the union, that has nothing to do with the posting of payscales at all.
