I just found out today that cali governor cut the budget for LVNs and gave it to RNs......thats partly why the job market is so bad for us..........everyone i know who has a job, has one because they know someone somewhere...a few people got lucky with LTC.....i suggest applying everyhere and taking any shif you can .....

you could volunteer with the red cross and you will not just do aide's work. maybe they'll even hire you? not the most ideal finanial situation but it will give exp. and could be a lot of fun
