I know this may sound like a stupid question, but...

My LVN license is due for renewal this fall, and I'm currently in Nursing school. Do my nursing classes count toward CEU's for my renewal. For example, I took 6 credit hours of nursing classes this past semester, so does that count as 60 hours of CEU's? I usually just do an online course to fulfill my CEU requirment, but if my nursing classes count toward CEU's, I'd rather not shell out the extra money. Does anyone know? Has anyone applied nursing classes they are taking as their CEU's. Thanks a bunch.

I used nursing school courses for my first renewal. Ask your nursing school advisor what the school's provider number is and be sure to list the accurate name of the courses on your form. They will certainly let you know if the school does not have a provider number.
