how can my BSN from foreign country be recognized here?

Hi fellow nurses!!! I was just wondering if anyone knows an Organization or Agency that I could go to so that my BSN degree from the Philippines be recognized here in California? Because I heard that there is a slight advantage being an RN,BSN especially on the salary side
