Hello from San Francisco

by cpiste

Hello all,

It's finally great to find a forum for us in the nursing field.

I'm 26 and currently working as a part time CNA here in San Francisco, CA I took 2 years of RN college back in the Philippines but I had to stop in order for me to go here in the US. I was wondering if it's better for me to go back and finish my remaining 2 years there or study here?

Some people are telling me the board exams over there are needed here, and some just told me its useless and just continue studying here.

If I start studying here I would be back at square one where I start from the beginning and lose that 2 years I've credited before. I think there's also a wait in the RN programs that I've gathered information about.

Any comments, advices are always welcome.
