HAYWARD

Has anyone heard of a private college in Hayward, Ca that has an R.N. program. I was told from my local American Red Cross, that Hayward has a private college that accepts RN all the time. He said that some how the college will accept you no matter what semester their current RN program is at. For an example, he said that if you apply and the nursing program is already going into their second semester the school will let you do the second, third, fourth semester and then go back and do the first semester. I don't know if this is true, but if anyone has any information that would be great.
Thanks

Hi minnierocker,

I haven't heard of any private college in Hayward that does that. Are you sure it is not for LVN? I have searched all over for different RN programs in our area and have not come across one that admits all the time. If there is one, it is probably pretty pricey. Did you reapply to MJC for Spring 2010?

If it's not on the CA BRN website chances are it's NOT accredited. It could be an online college with clinical rotations at the hospital. Why don't you ask the Red Cross the name since they're the ones that gave you the info on it.

I asked the guy I was talking with, he said that he wasn't sure, he thought it was Brown's University but when I looked that up only a Brown's out of the country came up. So I'm not sure. He knew that I was going for an RN, so I don't think it was an LVN program he was talking about. He just explained that several students that take CPR classes with them had mentioned this school and with trying to get ino local colleges they had no luck either, so they applied to this school and got right in.
