going in a few days to Cali, Q r/t nurys & walkthru

So, I am driving 35 hrs to Cali starting this Sat.! I'm scared to death I won't get my walk thru license!

Ok, so I will have with me:

My completed application
passport photo
and verification of my TN RN license

My question is: TN participates in nursys online...but how do I provide proof when I'm trying to get my temp walk thru license? Can I print off a receipt from the nursys website? I never received anything when I did it online, so this is my only proof. Or will they at the board actually look online for me?

And then, do my fingerprints & that is it right??

I'm clearly scared here. I just want to make sure I bring everything I need!

If you applied thru Nursys, then they will just obtain the information from that site. Verification of a license is never accepted from you directly, it needs to be sent by the BON, or available via Nursys.

You are also going to need to have your transcripts sent in by your school before you will be issued a permanent license.

If you are at their office by about 9 am, then you can expect to be on the road back by 1 pm. You will need to get the LiveScan done for your fingerprints there and that can be done at the Dept of Justice office, there is one just a few blocks away from the BRN office.

Best of luck to you and please drive safely.
