Endorsement of Ca license to other state

by gabgab

Hi! Can anyone help me? I am licensed as an RN in California but I was offered a job in Arizona. How do I apply for endorsement of license? Can it be done online or do I have to go to their office in Ca. I have checked the website of Ca BON but can't seem to find answer to my question. I am not from America and will be flying to the US this month. Please help. Thanks

Why would you go to a CA office? If you need to endorse to Arizona, it's done through the AZ BON. Try looking up the website of Arizona.

Thanks so much. I thought I need to request the Ca BON to endorse my license to Arizona . No wonder I can't find any instructions at their website regarding my concern. Hehe!

Hold on a minute, you do not have a CA license if you do not have a SSN#. Therefore you cannot follow the endorsement process that is routinely followed. Do you in fact have a CA license in hand, or a letter that states that you passed the NCLEX exam?

If you do not have a physical license with a number on it, you will need to go thru the initial licensure process for AZ and then have CA BRN submit verification that you passed the NCLEX-RN exam. You will need to follow what it states to do for License by Examination.............
