East Bay - BS vs ELMS ?

Am almost done with my nursing pre-reqs at DVC community College. Already have a BS degree in another subject, but finally following my dream. Am anticipating applying to programs next Fall. Plan on applying to everything locally--Community College programs, State University schools and private schools. Am told I have a better chance at getting into an entry level MS program--but that's thru a private (very$$$) school. Would be willing to do it if it pays off later, but can't see how it would as entry level nurse is an entry level nurse no matter what letters you have along with your degree. Any words of advice? Gracie B
