did i fail?

i took the nclex last may 17 in california and i heard that they already post it online within 3 days. i mean, when you check to verify licenses, your name should be there already. and i just checked again and it wasnt there. does that mean i failed? and were there any incident where the name doesnt appear yet on the file but you passed?

Just to repeat myself for the 1,000,000 time. The average wait in CA for the BRN to post a license is ten days, not the two or three days that you see some posting about.

And if it was the PN exam, they will send you a letter in about three weeks and then the license is paid for if you have passed the exam.

Remember that as a new CA grad, one may sit for the exam before the state has actually received your transcripts in many cases, so it can take up to a month before you will see your name posted on their website for having an RN license.

Best of luck to you as you wait for your results. We also advise that you not contact the BRN until after two weeks have passed if you do not see your name up there by then. More calls and the longer it will take for all to see their names on the website.
