CPMC in SF or UCLA for NEW GRAD

Hi! I am a recent bsn grad and am going to start work as a new grad in the next few months. I am trying to decide between working at CPMC in San Fran and UCLA. Does anyone have any input about working at either of these places, especially as a new grad? I am interested in critical care so I would be applying to the ED and ICUs. Thank you!

New grad programs in the Bay Area are already full for next months start and have been since about April. There are many that wish to work in the area and new grad programs are only offered several times per year.

If the nurse has experience, then the new hire orientations are all of the time. But as a new grad, only two to three times per year in the Bay Area.

not considering location, family & friends, money, and the love of the bay area, i would pick ucla. i myself live in san francisco. i love it here, but the training for new grad is oh so competitive and fills up quickly that i actually am considering going to east coast to get the training (and i have about 2 yrs experience already). anyway, ucla is magnet status, i believe. i would pick ucla over cpmc if the only thing i care about is training program. well, that's my opinion only.
