CNA - Any tips on finding work?

Hi, All!

I am a brand sparkling new bright and shiny CNA. I'm am located in the South San Francisco Bay Area. I am unattached and all my dependants are now independant.

I need to begin working yesterday. I've only just started to apply for jobs. I've applied at Stanford, Kaiser Santa Teresa, Los Gatos Community, St. Louise and a local convalescent hospital and a home health care service so far. I will be applying at Good Samaritan and a host of others.

I am 51 and raring to go! I'm willing to work any shift!

Any tips on where to apply? temp agencies? other ideas for job opportunities?

How does a new CNA "break in" while I still have that 'new CNA smell'.

Thank you!
