Was involved in this right up to the interview process. Got a job at another hospital right before the interview and did not interview with them. This is their 2nd group of new grads using the Versant program.

Its a semi rural hospital and is small. Had a chance to meet a lot of applicants during the tour and all I can say is get ready for some serious competition. Could not believe how many of the applicants were UC graduates from Berkeley and Davis. Lots of bright students with limited slots. Just bring your A game when you start the entire application process.

Good luck.

Kaweah Delta, in Visalia CA, will be having a new CCNI program in feb or march of 2010. It will include rotations in the ED ICU and step down unit. This hospital is also in the process of applying for Magnet status. Please keep checking the website for any information as this is all I have.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet. CHOC has posted many listings for the new grad RN program.

New Grad RN positions for this February 8th program have been posted. This program is for RN's newly graduated or pending graduation this fall, from an accredited nursing program. Interviews for selected applicants will start after December 1st. After December 1st, you must login to your account for status on applications.
Only one active application is permitted at a time. Please be sure to make the selection to the unit carefully before applying.

I was just wondering what grads are doing now to earn money. I can only find temp, on call jobs like health coaching and CNA agency work.
